Bow Valley Provincial Park is one of our favorite places to explore as a family in the Spring. The park is located 45 minutes west of Calgary just off the TransCanada Highway, and is the perfect distance for a family day trip or early camping trip when you want to try out your trailer for the first time of the year. By May, you can easily enjoy snow-free hiking in this park, enjoy wild flowers in abundance and soak up some early spring sunshine. Here are my top picks for ways to enjoy the park with your family this Spring.
Frazzled parents with bags under their eyes; overtired toddlers kicking the seats in front of them; wailing infants unable to handle changes in air pressure. If you’ve ever flown on a plane, you’ve witnessed the sights (and sounds) of traveling with little ones. Flying is tough on everyone in the family, but parents with young children have an especially difficult time. Ask any mom or dad and they’ll tell you the same thing: disrupting the routines of infants and toddlers is asking for trouble.
Buying a pre-owned RV is a great way to enjoy this traveling lifestyle we’ve all come to know and love. This might be your first, second or even third RV but with any large purchasing decision, you don’t want to take it lightly. Do your homework, know what you’re looking for, do more than kick the tires and you should be able to find yourself a great coach.
