Topic: On June 22, Families Matter is hosting an event called “Steps to Hope” for families to build awareness of the community supports offered to support Perinatal Mental Health Programs in Calgary. Depression, anxiety, and stress are common during the perinatal period and are estimated to affect up to 25 percent of mothers. Lisa will give us the full details on the Steps to Hope event and how you can contribute to this important cause, simply by climbing stairs or walking.

Inidgenous Day Live Calgary.

On June 22, for the first time, APTN will host Indigenous Day Live from Fort Calgary (Moh'kins'tsis) as part of Aboriginal Awareness Week Calgary that runs from June 17 to 22. Indigenous Day Live is the largest national celebration in recognition of National Indigenous Peoples Day and the summer solstice in Canada.
