Annie the Musical is rated ages 6+. With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations... and even befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt! She finds a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy. Tickets are $32 per viewing code.

2021 marks the 9th year of the Calgary Zoo Penguin Walk!
The king penguin colony heads out on zoo grounds for a daily enrichment walk in the winter months to keep their brains and bodies healthy and visitors get to experience the fun! This incredible program allows visitors to get an up-close look at the group of king penguins as they explore, exercise, and waddle their way through the zoo. This is a free-choice activity for the penguins and is subject to weather conditions* and animal inclination.

Family Literacy Carnival: Travel the World.

The Centre for Family Literacy is holding a Family Literacy Day Carnival in celebration of Family Literacy Day®! Family Literacy Day® is a national awareness initiative created by ABC Life Literacy Canada. It is celebrated annually to raise awareness of the importance of reading and engaging in other literacy activities as a family. The theme for this year's carnival is Travel the World Together! Each day for 4 days, starting on Family Literacy Day, the Centre for Family Literacy will share a fun family literacy challenge on YouTube, with the carnival going live on Zoom for the 5th day. You'll find the YouTube challenge links on that date, as well as on Facebook and Twitter: #FamLitCarnival2021. January 27 - Explore the World through Science.

Join Bell Let's Talk Day to rally together! This movement is about coming together for one day as a collective voice. This movement is calling on mental health professionals to listen to youth, youth to listen to the CEO, the CEO to listen to the frontline worker, the frontline worker to listen to the newcomer to Canada.
This is a call for provinces and territories to join hands. Why?
To get a big picture of the impact we are collectively working toward as a nation regarding mental health. The crisis mental health 2020 has brought us is going to need all hands on deck.
