See a 75-minute version of The Merry Wives of Windsor performed at multiple locations in Calgary and area, such as Heritage Park, Brookfield Residential properties, and other public spaces. BADP - Dance Intensive.

This FREE Immersive 3 Week Dance Intensive will be held in Calgary and invite five guest dance instructors to lead workshops and intensives for 40 African, Caribbean and Black participants ranging from five years of age to adults over three weeks from July 11 - 30, 2022. The instructors will be traveling from Africa (South Africa), USA (Denver, Chicago and Washington), and Vancouver bringing over their 20+ years of experience in African diasporic dance forms.

Chinook Country Historical Society, a chapter of the Historical Society of Alberta, is pleased to present the 32nd annual Historic Calgary Week from July 22 through August 1, 2022.
Join us as we learn about and celebrate the history, culture, and community of Calgary and area with this year’s theme – We'll Meet Again: Unseen History Brought to Life. There are virtual and in-person events and with more than 65 different walks, talks, tours, and presentations there is something for everyone.
All events are open to the public and almost all are free of charge. Pre-registration is required for most events and attendance at many in-person events is limited. Donations are graciously accepted and appreciated.

Join us at our Summer Band Camp, Field the Rhythm, on the following dates:
- Friday, August 19, 2022 from 6pm - 9pm
- Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 10am - 5pm
- Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 10am - 4pm
This is a FREE, 3-day adventure for participants aged 12-18 who will get the experience of what it is like to be a part of a premiere marching ensemble in Canada such as the Calgary Round-Up Band, the Calgary Stetson Showband, and the Calgary Stampede Showband.
By the end of the camp, participants will:
- be exposed to the various types of show music (pop, funk, etc.)
- see what rehearsing in a marching band is like
make new friends and memories along the way
perform at a Show and Tell for family and friends
Show & Tell: Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 4pm - 5pm
If you are unsure about whether or not you belong in the marching arts, this camp is for you. Hint: The marching arts are for everyone!
Notes
- Ages 12 to 18
- Beginner music and dance experience recommended (e.g. Grade 5 band or dance lessons)

- Before and After supervision is available for 30 minutes
