Remembrance Day Toy Drive at Granary Road.
Every Sunday, Friday, Saturday, Nov 9, 2018 - Nov 11, 2018 at 12:00 am - 12:00 pm
Bring a toy to Granary Road on November 9, 10, and 11 in support of the military. Toy and dollar donations will be collected by the Calgary Military Family Resource Centre. The Public Market at Granary Road is open Friday, 11am to 7pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:30am to 5:30pm.

Battalion Park Remembrance Day Ceremony.

This ceremony will be hosted by the King's Own Calgary Regiment and will include speeches and a public address, along with wreath laying and a short ceremony in conjunction with military personnel.

Remembrance Day Service at the Kerby Centre .

This Remembrance Day service will be held in the gymnasium at the Kerby Centre. Doors open at 10:15am, the ceremony and weather laying takes place at 10:50am, and there will be light refreshments will follow. Johnny Summers and Egor Ukuloff will also be there performing live music.

The Field of Crosses Remembrance Day Service.

This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the Field of Crosses and the 100th anniversary of the armistice that ended the First World War. On November 11, a Remembrance Day ceremony will be held at the Field of Crosses commencing at 10:30am. The ceremony will be one to remember. Note: 9:30am - East and West bound Memorial Drive will be closed from Centre Street to 3rd Street NW. Parking is limited. It is recommend parking at Eau Claire and walking over the foot bridge. Remembrance Day Ceremony at the Military Museums.

This formal service takes place outside of the museum. Bring a non-perishable food donation for the Veterans' Food Bank. Be sure to explore the museum after the service; admission is free for the day. The service begins at 10:30am. Arrive early, as this ceremony is usually very popular.

Remembrance Day Service at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.

This Remembrance Day ceremony will be hosted by the Calgary United Veterans Association. The one-hour, indoor ceremony starts at 10:30am and features a laying of wreaths, music, and speakers. Afterward, there will be an outdoor march past (parade) around the Jubilee Auditorium. Doors open at 9am, the main auditorium opens at 9:30am, and the indoor service goes from 10:30 to 11:45am.

Remembrance Day Ceremony at The Hangar Flight Museum.

2018 marks the 75th anniversary of the Dambusters Raid and the 60th anniversary of NORAD. Join The Hangar Flight Museum for their annual Remembrance Day Ceremony. Past years have been well attended, so arrive early. Weather-permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors, so dress warmly. If weather does not permit, an outdoor ceremony attendance will be limited by their indoor fire code capacities. Containers will be provided for non-perishable food donations to the Veterans' Food Bank. The museum will be open after the ceremony with admission by donation until 4pm.

Canadian Pacific Remembrance Day Ceremony.

More than 33,000 CP employees served in World War I and II, and Canadian Pacific continues to commemorate them with its annual Remembrance Day ceremony. The ceremony takes place at CP's Memorial Square. Afterward, there will be refreshments at the Royal Canadian Pacific Pavilion at CP's Head Office Campus. The service begins at 10:40am.
