Join Friends of Fish Creek founding member and 35 year Parks employee, Wayne Meikle, on a wandering walking tour through the westernmost area of Fish Creek Provincial Park. Learn some of the parks fascinating and little known history, from the creation of its Engineered wetlands to its resilience through times of extreme flooding. Experience the beauty of the creek and surrounding forests with this treasured local expert as your guide. Starting from the Fish Creek Environmental Learning Center at Shannon Terrace, this walking tour will be on both paved pathways and unpaved trails.
