Date Night Down on the Farm - Harvest Pumpkin-Style.

Tickets on sale now. Event takes places October 5, 11, 12, 19 & 26. Join Butterfield Acres after-hours for a fun Fall evening! Perfect for a night out with your special someone, a girls’ night, or grab a big group of friends! The farmyard opens for visits with the animals at 5pm, until the hunt starts at 6:15pm. From there, you will go on a sunset tractor-pulled wagon ride out through the back pasture to the pumpkin patch. Once everyone has found their pumpkin, you will head back to Prairie Palace for pumpkin carving! Outside, there will be a campfire and enjoy hot chocolate and s'mores. It’s harvest fun at its best! There are a limited number of tickets available for each night. This event sold out last year, so buy your tickets early! Tickets are only available to purchase online (no ticket sales at the door). Tickets are $19.99 plus GST.

Calgary Unplugged is an annual family-friendly Earth Hour event. Date: Saturday, March 23, 2024 Time: 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Location: Central Library (800 3 Street SE) Join us for music, entertainment, and opportunities to experience what environmental actions you can take in Calgary. Pedal power midway games and experience how our natural world affects our daily lives. Bring personal lighting and dance to the DJ when the lights go down for the Earth Hour party! Calgary Unplugged is hosted by The Arusha Centre's Climate Program, with support from The City of Calgary and community agencies. If you can't make it to the event, turning off nonessential lights, "unplug" from electronics at 8:30 and reconnect with people, games or hobbies! After Earth Hour, share your participation with #EarthHour and #EarthHourYYC. Email programs@arusha.org with questions.

Tickets are on sale now! Harvest Pumpkin Hunts at Butterfield Acres Farm takes place place weekends in October. Off you will go on a tractor-pulled hay wagon, rolling through the crunchy Fall leaves, hoping to find some kid-sized pumpkins! Then you will decorate them into creative masterpieces to take home and, of course, visit with the farm animals, too! Must purchase tickets in advance; call 403-239-0638 or visit the website.

Recommended for children aged 5 to 12, but created with the entire family in mind. Come one hour before the show & enjoy family friendly activities. Stay after to meet the performers.
