Get creative this summer at AUArts through a range of art and design summer camps for kids (ages 9 to 12) and teens (ages 13 to 16). Students learn from professional artists and educators who guide students to develop new skills with confidence. We provide an open, supportive studio environment for students to explore their ideas and master new materials and techniques while having fun. AUArts is the summer camp destination for budding artists and designers.
A place and space where summer creativity begins! Each camp offers focused art education and practice in a specific medium to increase skill development and express creativity. Start with a drawing camp and move on to painting, sculpting, or art journaling. Students develop creativity and self-confidence they need to keep making art for the rest of summer and forever. The Imagine Arts Academy is a new partnership between Crayola® and the creators of Mad Science®. Campers will learn about the design-thinking process while experimenting with various mediums and techniques to create a board game, Martian habitats, costume fashion, practical products, and urban designs. Monday to Friday: 9am to 12Noon. Sign up for Mad Science® Brixology afternoon camp (1 to 4pm) for a full day STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) experience and receive free before- and after-care from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

For children/teens ages 8 to 18 with Learning Disabilities/ADHD, Camp Amicus offers day camps in Calgary. Campers participate in a wide variety of activities including canoeing, swimming, games, crafts, and much more. Alien In-Line Summer Skate Camp expert instructors will provide a fun camp experience for kids ages 6 to 12! Basic skating skills are introduced and reviewed so all can enjoy camp activities at a similar level. Original and fun, AIL activities and games on skates are incorporated to build and further develop skating proficiency. Unique tricks and special skating skills are taught. Each year, summer campers consist of aspiring culinary artists, scientists, business leaders, athletes, engineers, and tradespeople interested in using the many programming options to sharpen skills and discover new ones.

Stryker Sports offers age-appropriate skill development programs in basketball and volleyball for ages 6 through 15 following the Sport Canada Long-Term Athletic Development model. We offer programming in both sports for beginners through intermediate stages of competitive skills development. We offer a number of beginner and advanced camps in a number of locations in Calgary. New this summer is our two-sport camps with half a day of volleyball and half a day of basketball.
The Tennis Academy offers a variety of summer day camp options for ages 5 to 14. Two tennis lessons (with a certified professional), multisport activities, and lunch included daily with our Full-day Recreational Tennis Camp. One tennis lesson and multisport activities are included with our Half-day camp option. We are a designated Tennis Development Centre by Tennis Canada and the largest semi-private club in Western Canada.

SBT offers one- and three-week summer camp sessions, with optional Before- and After-Care at our Northwest location. One-week camps (Calgary Northwest, Southwest, Airdrie, Cochrane) give students the opportunity to work on theatre fundamentals and to create their own show for family and friends. Three-week Summer Spotlight Program (Calgary Northwest, Downtown) gives students who want a greater challenge a musical theatre intensive experience, culminating in a one-act musical public performance.
