Free "Pass the Puck" Workshop at the Firefighters Museum of Calgary.

Learn how teamwork is vital to being a hockey player and a firefighter through this amazing workshop with Hitmen alumni and NHL prospect Keegan Kanzig. Drafted by the Calgary Flames in 2013, Keegan will attend camp with the Carolina Hurricanes. Take part in team-building exercises and then a Q & A period with Keegan and CFD’s Public Information Officer Carol Henke. Oh yeah, bring your sticks - you never know when a game of shinny might break out. For kids ages 8 to 12 (proof of age may be required). Limited spots available, Pre-registration is required.

GlobalFest.

GlobalFest is an explosively multicultural festival that will take place from August 15 to 26. GlobalFest is proud to partner once again with Trico Homes for the International Fireworks Festival and Sunbelt Rentals for the OneWorld Festival. The Trico Homes International Fireworks Festival illuminates the night sky every August with a symphony of pyrotechnics and music, coming together as an artistic display of light and sound.Sunbelt Rentals OneWorld Festival will play host to various activities including live performances, cultural pavilions, ethnic food booths, and a night market.
