Charlotte's Web runs until December 31; check website for show times. Back by popular demand, ATP brings E.B. White’s classic children’s book about the unlikely friendship between a pig named Wilbur and a spider called Charlotte to the stage this holiday season! The music-filled adaptation follows Wilbur from his beginnings as a scrawny piglet who’s spared from becoming pork chops by a young girl named Fern. But as he grows and begins to cost his owners a fortune in feed, it will take help from all his new farmyard friends to save his life again, including the miraculous talents of a very special gray spider. The Calgary Farmers' Market is continuing their holiday tradition and will be transforming into the premiere destination to find everything for on the table and under the tree this upcoming holiday season. Start your holiday season with the Sugar Plum Fairy! Professional ballet dancer Nicole Caron, the "Sugar Plum Fairy" in Alberta Ballet's annual presentation of the holiday classic "The Nutcracker" for over 10 years, will introduce your child to the magic of dance like no one else can. No experience is necessary for this fun, family-friendly event where the School of Alberta Ballet dance studio will be magically transformed into a winter wonderland full of amazement and delight. All senses will be tickled as your child learns and hears the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy from the real fairy, with music performed by a live accompaniment. They will see and feel the Sugar Plum Fairy's tutu and tiara, and enjoy a sweet treat to take home! Your little boys and girls will leave with a twinkle in their eye and a spring in their step! Get your photo taken with a debonair scarf-sporting alpaca, mingle through the market and shop for the holidays, sit on Santa’s lap and tell him how good you were this year, go for a sleigh or hay ride, skate on the pond, take part in snowman-building contests, throw snow balls at funny frigid targets, visit the North Pole Frozen Funland, and more! If you’re Dreaming of a Nerd Christmas, then The Expo Holiday Market is the festive shopping extravaganza that you’ve been looking for! Deck the Halls with Boughs of Starships or enjoy Walking in a Nerdy Wonderland as you peruse aisles of comic book vendors, toy dealers, collectible retailers, and more! Santa Claus will, of course, be Coming to Town to make a personal appearance as we celebrate The Most Wonderful Time of the Year geek-style. Runs November 22 to January 7. Lougheed House, an 1891 Victorian mansion in the Beltline, is decorated with thousands of Christmas lights, ornaments, wreaths, trees, and seasonal magic! There will be seasonal family programs, including visits from Victorian Santa and Victorian games and crafts happening until December 23.

Drop by the John Dutton Theatre in the Central Calgary Public Library anytime between 1 to 3pm (screenings at 1:10pm and 2:10pm). You are invited to the World Premiere screening of The Gray Jay and the Magpie! WP Puppet has commissioned emerging writer Ken Lee from Calgary to write a 150-line story to mark Canada's 150th Anniversary of Confederation. Over 150 local, national, and international participants of all ages took part in the video by making a puppet and having their puppet read one line of the story. Come to this screening event to see the results! There will also be puppet making, creative activities, and cupcakes! Writer, participants, and puppets will be in attendance.

Legacy's 3rd Annual Christmas Light Parade is back! With over 100,000 lights, Legacy will be lit up with lights for you and your family to enjoy. Drive or walk through the decorated parks in the community or visit the skating rink on Legacy View! It is free for anyone to come drive through the community or come out and walk through the tunnels of lights. The public parks as well as the 28 show homes in the community have been decorated for Christmas! While walking through, feel free to stop by any of the showhomes for a free hot drink as you look at the displays! Or visit any Calbridge Show Home to make a Toy Mountain donation.
