Delve into the complex and rich histories rooted in the lands at The Confluence in this one hour guided tour of the cultural centre. Through stories, photographs and a tour through our permanent exhibition space, uncover the layered past of the confluence on this indoor tour, which includes a presentation in the beautiful Burnswest Theatre and a guided walk through the cultural centre. From a place of significance to Indigenous Peoples since time immemorial, to the establishment of Fort Calgary, to what the land is like today, this tour will leave you with a richer understanding of the history of the place where the Bow and Elbow rivers meet.
