Take a 60-minute guided walking tour around the vibrant lands at The Confluence and learn some of the many histories of this significant place, including the history of the NWMP and their contribution to the birth of the city of Calgary, the railway, and the ways that many people have used this site since time immemorial.

Every Friday and Saturday in July, join us at Granary Road for extended fun until 9pm! Enjoy an evening of Yester Year Mini Golf, exploring the Park, visiting our Farm Petting Zoo, indulging in delicious Ice Cream, and savoring authentic Mexican food by El Gringo Loco YYC. Want to learn more about Powwows? Have you ever wondered if there are protocols that you should know about? Throughout the summer, there will be outdoor demonstrations at select Library locations prior to the Siksika, Kainai, Tsuut’ina, Piikani, and Stoney Nakoda Powwows — which all make up the Powwow Trail.

An unforgettable weekend of ground-breaking icons, upstart songwriters, and instrumentalists — that Folk Fest feeling is like none other at Prince’s Island Park.

Get your garden buzzing by learning about the basics of bees. Get decked out in some beekeeping gear and join ABC Bees owner and operator Eliese Watson for a hive tour of the bees here in The Confluence Garden. This two-hour workshop will cover all of the different aspects of setting up bee hives and how to care for them in an inner city location.

At Sunfest, there is an activity made for all ages. This could mean a jump in the bouncer, discovering a great new band, being wowed and amazed by world-class circus and comedy street shows, choosing a perfect summer patio or searching for a trendy fashion; there is no shortage of things happening in Inglewood.

The city's most appetizing festival, giving visitors the chance to sample food, beverages, music and other cool things. Discover Calgary's global cuisines from a mix of unique restaurants and beverage companies. Plus get a taste of Calgary's great musicians.

Art! Dream! and Kids! For families, couples, and anyone who wants to be inspired by peace-seeking spirit through art and culture, the best event is this! Enjoy the Midnight Taiko and many other performers of multicultural appearances, as well as speakers from diverse backgrounds. The Peace Exhibition and the Fun vendors will be there! . The Beltline Urban Murals Project is Calgary’s street art festival. Since 2017, BUMP has added over 180 public art installations to Calgary. You can watch new murals go up in real time, attend artist talks, and vibe out to Graffiti Jams.

The Calgary Dragon Boat Race & Festival is an exciting mix of dragon boat racing cultural celebrations featuring a main stage of entertainment beer garden, retail merchants, and food trucks. RBC Race for the Kids is back with a day of in-person fun that includes a family fun walk/run, race swag, as well as all-day parking and access to Heritage Park during Railway Days. This fundraising event is in support of important programs and services that help kids in our community who are struggling with their mental health.
