Oh Yes They Can Be: Depression in Children.

Participants will learn what depression is, the differences between sadness and depression, and what causes depression. They will also find out about risk factors and will be able to recognize the signs and symptoms of depression. Participants will gain knowledge about what to do if they suspect their child has this disorder, as well as acquire some basic coping strategies and resources they can access to support their child’s healing.
