Charlotte's Web runs until December 31; check website for show times. Back by popular demand, ATP brings E.B. White’s classic children’s book about the unlikely friendship between a pig named Wilbur and a spider called Charlotte to the stage this holiday season! The music-filled adaptation follows Wilbur from his beginnings as a scrawny piglet who’s spared from becoming pork chops by a young girl named Fern. But as he grows and begins to cost his owners a fortune in feed, it will take help from all his new farmyard friends to save his life again, including the miraculous talents of a very special gray spider. Join us at Southcentre Mall from June 3rd to 23rd for our fourth annual Indigenous History Month celebration in partnership with Authentically Indigenous. This month-long event will foster understanding, appreciation, and celebration of Canada’s Indigenous Peoples. Experience educational activities, cultural displays, and storytelling sessions that connect both Indigenous and non-Indigenous Canadians. The celebrations will include: Full-Size Tipi: Step inside a tipi adorned with tapestries representing decades of Indigenous contributions to Calgary’s culture. Storytelling: Be moved by traditional stories from elders, delight in puppet shows by Indigenous authors, and explore virtual reality experiences by the Urban Society for Aboriginal Youth. Artisan Market: Discover the vibrancy of Indigenous creativity at our artisan market on June 7th and 8th. Enjoy music, dance, and locally crafted goods. Educational Information Walls: Learn and engage with displays that provide deeper insights into Indigenous culture.

Ring in the New Year with TELUS Spark at Noon Year's Eve! Perfect for Calgarians with early bedtimes, take part in a special countdown beginning at 11:45am set to the tune of hydrogen balloon explosions! Then, join the celebrations at the bubble wrap dance party! The Atrium floor will be covered with hundreds of feet of bubble wrap for you to stomp and pop!

Runs November 22 to January 7. Lougheed House, an 1891 Victorian mansion in the Beltline, is decorated with thousands of Christmas lights, ornaments, wreaths, trees, and seasonal magic! There will be seasonal family programs, including visits from Victorian Santa and Victorian games and crafts happening until December 23.

The City of Calgary New Year’s Eve Family Event. Bring your family and friends as you play, swim, jump, and splash into 2018! Each location will have a variety of activities such as obstacle courses, arts & crafts, bouncy house, and a “Take a Selfie” photo booth. Afterward, take the party to the waterpark to splash around in the wave pool, enjoy the slides, hot tub, and Safari Splash. Stay until the very end to enjoy the pool party countdown!

The Airdrie Festival of Lights will glow nightly from December 1 to 31 from 6 to 9pm. Admission is by cash donation. There will be 3 brightly-colored Toy Soldier Guard Houses situated around the park for you to donate. Or if you see the Jingle Jugs roaming, you can drop your donation with them, too.

Kick off 2018 with free family-friendly celebrations! The City of Calgary has something for everyone, from samba to line dancing, rockabilly to rock n’ roll, Star Wars to fireworks and ice carving to ice skating, so be sure to come on down!

Flare n’ Derrick Community Hall Families are invited to celebrate the New Year with an evening of free activities! Hosted by The Town of Turner Valley, the party features horse-drawn wagon rides, music, children’s entertainment, snacks, and hot chocolate. Fireworks conclude the evening’s celebrations at 8pm (weather-permitting). We hope see you there!

Legacy's 3rd Annual Christmas Light Parade is back! With over 100,000 lights, Legacy will be lit up with lights for you and your family to enjoy. Drive or walk through the decorated parks in the community or visit the skating rink on Legacy View! It is free for anyone to come drive through the community or come out and walk through the tunnels of lights. The public parks as well as the 28 show homes in the community have been decorated for Christmas! While walking through, feel free to stop by any of the showhomes for a free hot drink as you look at the displays! Or visit any Calbridge Show Home to make a Toy Mountain donation. Starting in December for a second year, the Legacy Residents Association is holding a Christmas light competition for house decoration. Stay tuned for more details!
