Register today for the 13th Annual Hike for Hospice Calgary, taking place on May 6. 9am: North Parking Lot - Registration, Pledge Drop-Off, T-shirt Pick-Up, and Festivities. 10am: Warm up with the Stampeder Outriders, Opening Ceremonies, and then the Walk! Walk 5K at Sikome Lake, Fish Creek Provincial Park, as Hospice Calgary celebrates people close to Hospice Calgary and to support end-of-life care in the local community. There will also be refreshments, face painting, a kids zone, a doggie zone, and photo booth! For full details and to register for the Hike for Hospice Calgary, visit the website. This month-long event will foster understanding, appreciation, and celebration of Canada’s Indigenous Peoples. Experience educational activities, cultural displays, and storytelling sessions that connect both Indigenous and non-Indigenous Canadians. The celebrations will include: Full-Size Tipi: Step inside a tipi adorned with tapestries representing decades of Indigenous contributions to Calgary’s culture. Storytelling: Be moved by traditional stories from elders, delight in puppet shows by Indigenous authors, and explore virtual reality experiences by the Urban Society for Aboriginal Youth. Artisan Market: Discover the vibrancy of Indigenous creativity at our artisan market on June 7th and 8th. Enjoy music, dance, and locally crafted goods. Educational Information Walls: Learn and engage with displays that provide deeper insights into Indigenous culture.

Teach your child about courage, unity, joyfulness, and caring in an afternoon of fun and adventure. An event for the whole family that you will want to be a part of. Recommended for children aged 5 to 12, but created with the entire family in mind. Come one hour before the show & enjoy family friendly activities. Stay after to meet the performers. Join Granary Road to celebrate and recognize the world's largest environmental event with activities for the whole family! 9:30am to 5:30pm - Plant a seed and take it home! Pots, Seeds, and Dirt will be provided for kids to plant their own plant, take it home, and care for it until it grows big enough to plant in the garden or in a bigger pot. 9:30am to 5:30pm - Colour a picture and learn something about the plants which are in Granary Road's Active Learning Park. 11am to 2pm - Learn about Vermicomposting and interact with the on-site project. 12pm - Build a terrarium and take it home! ($20). 10am to 10:30am & 3pm to 3:30pm - Get moving with the whole family with Zumba and Family Fitness classes! 9:30am to 5:30pm - Take a pledge to help the Earth, capture it with a photo, and enter an Instagram contest!

Hailed by Gramophone magazine as "one of the finest among the astonishing gallery of young virtuoso cellists," German-Canadian cellist Johannes Moser has performed with the world’s leading orchestras. He is becoming renown for his efforts to expand the reach of the classical genre and new music. Andrei Korobeinikov gave his first professional solo recital at the age of eight at the Great Hall of the Baku State Academy of Music in Azerbaijan. Since then, he has performed in more than 45 countries and won countless prizes. Andrei is a soloist, but also adores performing chamber music recitals with fellow artists.
