Calgary Unplugged is an annual family-friendly Earth Hour event. Date: Saturday, March 23, 2024 Time: 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Location: Central Library (800 3 Street SE) Join us for music, entertainment, and opportunities to experience what environmental actions you can take in Calgary. Pedal power midway games and experience how our natural world affects our daily lives. Bring personal lighting and dance to the DJ when the lights go down for the Earth Hour party! Calgary Unplugged is hosted by The Arusha Centre's Climate Program, with support from The City of Calgary and community agencies. If you can't make it to the event, turning off nonessential lights, "unplug" from electronics at 8:30 and reconnect with people, games or hobbies! 7th Annual Wings & Wheels on Father’s Day Weekend at The Hangar Flight Museum. This two-day event will have airplanes, vintage cars, and helicopter rides with LR Helicopters (weather permitting, extra fee applies). There will be airplanes open for interior viewing. Plus, the ‘wings’ will be joined by vintage cars and motorcycles from local car clubs for a Show and Shine - the ‘wheels.’ Dads get in free with one accompanying paid admission. Admission is free for kids 0 to 2.

We Are All Treaty People - Theatrical Production.

There are two performances on June 16: 4pm and 7pm. Two girls, one Indigenous, and the other non-Indigenous, notice their differences and wonder if they can be friends. A Trickster arrives and shares the ancestral history of Southern Alberta. After hearing the Trickster’s story, will they choose to pursue a path of friendship? Told with Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists through songs, prayers, creative movement, and puppetry, the plays intent is to promote healing and to inspire positive relationships across cultures and generations. This play is a co-production between Making Treaty 7 Cultural Society and Quest Theatre.
