Rediscover, play, and celebrate National Play Day with The City’s Free Monstrous Adventure Playground. Monstrous Adventure Playgrounds are dynamic spaces where children can explore, create, imagine, and learn in their own way. They contain a variety of materials and loose parts such as boards, tires, tape, and cardboard that children are free to use to build and demolish as they desire. In partnership with International Play Association Canada, Early Childhood Coalitions of Alberta, IdeaLab Calgary, Parks Foundation Calgary, SensaKids, Telus Spark, and VIVO for Healthier Generations.
