Ring In 2019 With a Big Bang! Can’t stay up until midnight? TELUS Spark has you covered! Join them in a family-friendly New Year's celebration and countdown to Noon! They are amping up the excitement with exploding hydrogen balloons and a massive bubble wrap dance floor! When the clock strikes 12, get ready to make thunderous crackles and pops as you and the fam dance 2018 away on the one-of-a-kind bubble wrap dance floor. Unboxed Programming also included.

One person’s recycling can be another person’s playground! Let your kids unleash their creativity to discover how great cardboard, tape, and bubble wrap can really be as they use their hands and learn new skills to create new masterpieces. Packages are great, but sometimes the packaging is even better! Plus, ring in the New Year with the return of the family-friendly Noon Year’s Eve bubble wrap dance party on December 31!

Bring family and friends as you enjoy the party in the water park to splash around in the wave pool, slides, and hot tub. Listen to cool beats and participate in a pool party countdown at 5:15pm. All ages plus adults welcome.

Legacy's 4th Annual Christmas Light Parade is back! With over 120,000 lights, all December, Legacy will be lit up with lights for you and your family to enjoy. It is free for anyone to come drive through the community or come out and walk through the tunnels of lights. The public parks, as well as over 20 Show Homes in the community, have been decorated for Christmas! Come enjoy the many lights and displays and join the Legacy.

Hall Families are invited to celebrate the New Year with an evening of free activities. Hosted by the Town of Turner Valley, the party features horse-drawn wagon rides, dance party, children’s entertainment, snacks and hot chocolate. Fireworks conclude the evening’s celebrations at 8pm, weather-permitting.

Public Skate takes place from 6 to 7:30pm and the Pool Party takes place from 6 to 8pm. Play, swim, jump, splash, and slide into 2019! Bring the whole family for tons of fun. Come for arts & crafts, games, obstacle courses, bouncy house, and snap a pic in the Take a Selfie photo booth! Then join in the water park where there will be a DJ pumping out the tunes as you enjoy the wave pool, slides, hot tub, and safari splash! Stay until the very end to enjoy the pool party countdown!

The 32nd Annual Lions’ Festival of Lights will illuminate Confederation Park Golf Course along 14 Street NW again this holiday season from December 1 to January 8. Drive by Calgary’s largest Free Christmas light showcase nightly between 6pm and midnight or take the family for a sled ride through the park amongst the 450,000+ bulbs! The Grand Opening event, complete with fireworks, will be held on December 1 at 5pm.

ZOOLIGHTS, presented by Olympia Trust Company, is back with more holiday cheer, festive spirit, and family fun than ever! Come experience how 2+ million lights, 200 displays, crackling fire pits, and fun-filled activity zones (with many new additions!) transform the Zoo into a magical winter wonderland. The City of Calgary and the Central Library are hosting a free New Year’s Eve celebration for the whole family! This year’s festivities include The Rumpus Room in the Municipal Building Atrium, and a family dance party in the Central Library featuring a kids' countdown at 9pm, video games, and much more! Outdoors at Olympic Plaza there will be a skating party! The Tim Hortons truck will keep your family warm with some free hot drinks. Food trucks will be parked on 3 Street SE, and across all three sites you can and check out art, ice sculptures, and roaming performers. Afterward, watch the amazing ENMAX fireworks on the roof of the Calgary Tower to ring in 2019!
