Come and enjoy an afternoon listening to stories and some of Canada’s finest musicians. Storyteller/Musician Samantha Whelan Kotkas and her friends will entertain you and your children with musical interactive tales of child-accessible hikes in the Rocky Mountains. Teach your child about courage, unity, joyfulness, and caring in an afternoon of fun and adventure. An event for the whole family that you will want to be a part of. Recommended for children aged 5 to 12, but created with the entire family in mind. Come one hour before the show & enjoy family friendly activities. Stay after to meet the performers. Kids and families can read (or be read to) and take part in virtual challenges based on Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STREAM) through the Library’s website throughout the summer. You can register any time between now and August 31 with your free Library card! All kids must register with their own Library card, and you can get a free card online.? For teens, there's the Ultimate Summer Challenge: Teen Takeover. Track your reading through the website or app and complete fun, creative challenges to earn digital badges. The more badges you earn, the more chances you have to win.??
