The Bridgeland Arctic Adventure is a 7.5K Outdoor Adventure Circuit in Calgary and features 13 stops in the Bridgeland community, including human curling, an icefield traverse, a snow beach, and more! There are also prizes to be won by completing scavenger hunts and posting at least 3 pictures or videos at different locations on social media with the proper tags. And on weekends, check out Bridgeland Distillery‘s outdoor ice bar for winter cocktails between 2 and 6pm! Follow the latest public health and pandemic regulations. You’re invited to join for a provincial fundraiser, Winterland Invitational 2021! Enjoy your favorite winter activity in support of RMHC Alberta families! Get outside and get active, while fundraising for families who need to stay at a Ronald McDonald House in Alberta. Play shinny at the ODR; book practice time at your local curling club; do a virtual dryland challenge with your hockey team; crush your favorite moguls; snowshoe or cross-country ski an outdoor trail; toboggan at your neighborhood park; or even build a snowman! Due to COVID-19, please be mindful of all current provincial restrictions and public health guidelines when choosing your winter activity.

2021 marks the 9th year of the Calgary Zoo Penguin Walk! The king penguin colony heads out on zoo grounds for a daily enrichment walk in the winter months to keep their brains and bodies healthy and visitors get to experience the fun! This incredible program allows visitors to get an up-close look at the group of king penguins as they explore, exercise, and waddle their way through the zoo. This is a free-choice activity for the penguins and is subject to weather conditions* and animal inclination.
