The CORE Shopping Centre partners with Golden Acre Home & Garden to create an exciting Earth Week pop-up filled with shoppable plants in the middle of the mall. From April 18 to April 22, the shopping centre’s second floor glass bridge will be transformed into a lush Earth Week display, complete with Earth Day facts, an interactive pledge wall, activities, and a 6-foot by 8-foot greenhouse filled with plants and pottery for purchase. The week will culminate on April 22 with a vendor fair featuring sustainable products, games for all ages, and perhaps most exciting of all, one lucky winner will walk away with the greenhouse and a $150 Golden Acre gift card to help fill it with plants!

: Eggstravaganza is back with family-friendly fun designed to help you say ‘goodbye’ to winter and ‘hello’ to the warmer weather! Your kiddo gets to have some fun and enjoy seeing their favourite animals while supporting an important cause - wildlife conservation! We’re spreading the fun over four days so choose the day that works best for you and hop your way over to the zoo!?It's going to be an EGG-cellent time!? DAILY ACTIVITIES: • The Great Hatch Hunt?– Don't forget to bring your cell phone because you won't want to miss out on the fun of our?virtual egg hunt! Look for the giant egg signs around the zoo and use your phone to scan the QR code to?play along! Did we mention there's prizes to be won?! • Egg-cellent Touchtables?– while you’re out exploring the zoo grounds, be sure to stop by our egg-cellent touchtables where our volunteers will be talking about all things eggs. They will even have some biofacts to show related to egg laying species at the zoo. • Zoo Egg Photo Ops?– Be sure to hop on over to one of our fun photo ops and don your best ‘hatching face’ as you hatch from an egg! There’s four in total so try to visit them all. • Game Zone?– Bunny hop on over to the West Lawn to enjoy some lawn games fun for the whole family! • Treat Stations*?- while exploring the zoo ground, those 12 and under can visit our?treat stations for a free treat.
