The worldwide touring exhibit, The Museum of Failure (MOX), is coming to Canada for the first time. MOX will be popping up in Calgary at Southcentre Mall this summer. This immersive walk-through exhibition showcases a collection of over 130 failed innovations from major brands, including Apple, Amazon, Nintendo, and more.

Bow Habitat Kids Can Catch Trout Pond.

Beginning May 1, the Bow Habitat Station’s Kids Can Catch Trout Pond is open for the season. This pond is stocked with rainbow trout raised in the fish hatchery for you to catch and release. Visit bowhabitat.alberta.ca for more information.

Fuel up on your way to the grounds with a FREE flapjack breakfast from The District at Beltline, along with craft brews, a Caesar bar, music and more. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be complimentary, alcohol will be available for sale. Advance registration via Eventbrite is required and you may select an arrival time of 8 a.m. or 9 a.m. Please bring a digital or printed copy of your free ticket with you to check in when you arrive. The breakfast will take place in the outdoor courtyard between buildings B & C. Ample street parking is available nearby. Underground parking is also available off of 12 Avenue SW.

From the Segway to Google Glass, some of the world's most prominent companies have produced their fair share of flops. But as the old saying goes, failure is the best teacher! - All-ages event, bring your friends and family! - July 1 - August 31 event dates and time slots available. End date is subject to change. - The MOX exhibit is located at Southcentre Mall on the Southeast end of the building, between Decathlon and Craft Beer Market. Free parking upon arrival. BADP - Dance Intensive.

This FREE Immersive 3 Week Dance Intensive will be held in Calgary and invite five guest dance instructors to lead workshops and intensives for 40 African, Caribbean and Black participants ranging from five years of age to adults over three weeks from July 11 - 30, 2022. The instructors will be traveling from Africa (South Africa), USA (Denver, Chicago and Washington), and Vancouver bringing over their 20+ years of experience in African diasporic dance forms.

Calgary Zoo - ZOOLIGHTS.

Takes place November 19 to January 2 (excluding November 23, 28 & 30 and December 3, 25 & 31). ZOOLIGHTS, presented by Olympia Trust Company, is back for its 25th year! This year's ZOOLIGHTS will feature exciting new themed areas and activities including a 25th anniversary Memory Lane, the Nutcracker in the ENMAX Conservatory, and an all-new “Tunnel of Light,” a tribute to Canada’s wetland, a holiday Zoo Market, and a very special “Dinos at Night” experience like you have never seen before! Of course, the Zoo is bringing back all the classic activities everyone has come to love like the Skating Rink, Fire pits, and Rival Axe Throwing. ZOOLIGHTS comes to life at night with twinkling lights at every turn, including over 200 light figurines, along with interactive and choreographed light displays. The lights are turned on at 5pm nightly and run until 9pm. It takes approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours to experience all that ZOOLIGHTS has to offer - but you are able to stay for as little or as long as you like!

These activities will include games, crafts, music, and snacks as part of our community outreach. Starting July 12 we will be outside in the sun Tuesday Evenings from 6:30-8pm and Thursday mornings from 10-11:30am. Please note these events are weather permitting.
