The Calgary Folk Music Festival presents Block Heater, a live music festival that brings the best in folk music to Calgary each winter. Local and international artists such as Abigail Lapell, CELL7, K-Riz, and much more, headline various venues for performances and jam sessions.

For its third instalment, the event hosts both a FIS Snowboard Slopestyle World Cup and a FIS Snowboard Halfpipe World Cup. The Society’s online learning conference, Think Spring! is back for 2023. It will be one day of presentations in two concurrent streams, held on February 11. In the morning, all attendees will be brought together to hear the keynote address. In the afternoon, there will be six presentations to choose from.

Calgary Unplugged is an annual family-friendly Earth Hour event.
