Canada’s Filipino Restaurant Month is a chance for diners to explore the diverse culinary scene of the Philippines with participating restaurants across Canada.

we’ve all attended a wedding or two. Which is why we could all relate to the classic movie about a 1980’s wedding singer who finally found a love of his own. By the 1990’s, the wedding singer has had lots of practice and is often called on to sing at the biggest weddings of the year. But what happens when he must sing at, what everyone says will surely be, the wedding of the millennium? Oh, and the millennium bride just happens to be his daughter.

On April 8 from 1 to 3pm CFM South will host Butterfield Acres and their most huggable animals on the south lawn. Stop by to meet goats, sheep, rabbits, chickens, and piglets. Wild Rose Rabbit Rescue will also be there, giving you the chance to foster or adopt a rabbit, and to learn all about how you can support their amazing rescue efforts. On April 8 from 3 to 7pm, CFM West will add a little Easter joy to your visit – take advantage of free face painting and balloon animals while you get everything you need for the holiday. A group of local artists led by pysanky master Daena Diduck, will design 14 three-dimensional eggs ranging from three to six feet tall, one for each month that the war has been ongoing in Ukraine. The eggs will be displayed at the mall as public art until the end of the month, when they will be sold in a silent auction with proceeds going to two Ukrainian support organizations.

This year the Eggstravaganza is back with new games and new experiences you won't want to miss.

The Easter bunny will be making a very important stop at Mt. Norquay this year and hiding thousands of chocolate treasures in the snow. We won’t be able to find them all on our own, so we’re inviting kids of all ages to join in the Easter fun! With so many chocolate eggs to be found, make sure to bring all your friends too.

Celebrate Easter with Experience Church at the Jack Singer Concert Hall. This is an event for all ages.

Say hello to the Easter Bunny at Banff Sunshine Village. Bunnies will be handing out chocolate and treats to the kids! Non-denominational Easter Church Service at 11am followed by an Easter egg hunt for the kids at the top of Strawberry.

Begin each day with a traditional welcome, smudge and blessing of all materials, tools and the rattles at the Arts Learning Commons. Chantal will be your guide, instructing how to create your Rattle step by step. Chantal will share the history and stories of the rattle and the teachings of the Medicine Wheel. Learn traditional water and healing songs to accompany and use our rattles for healing in a good way.
