The Bow Habitat Station’s Kids Can Catch Trout Pond opens in mid-May and is stocked with rainbow trout in the fish hatchery for you to catch and release.

Free Stampede Fun for the WHOLE FAMILY! Start Your Stampede Downtown and Enjoy Free Pancakes and Bacon, Live Entertainment, Old Time Horse Drawn Rig Rides, and Much More! At Fluor Rope Square, every day starts with a bacon pancake served hot off a chuckwagon or smokie paired with Stampede-style entertainment including marching bands, dancers, singers, fiddlers, friendly mascots plus so much more! You can find Fluor Rope Square and the friendly volunteers of the Calgary Stampede Downtown Attractions Committee (DTA) at Olympic Plaza on the corner of 7th Avenue and Macleod Trail SE across from City Hall and other locations down Stephen Avenue. Note: Chuckwagon Breakfasts are served 8:30am to 10:30am
