A stirring play about the importance of art, courage, romance, and justice, Burke’s rarely-told story is brought to life in this world premiere by Calgary playwrights Maria Crooks and Caroline Russell-King.

Join us at Southcentre Mall from June 3rd to 23rd for our fourth annual Indigenous History Month celebration in partnership with Authentically Indigenous. This month-long event will foster understanding, appreciation, and celebration of Canada’s Indigenous Peoples. Experience educational activities, cultural displays, and storytelling sessions that connect both Indigenous and non-Indigenous Canadians. The celebrations will include: Full-Size Tipi: Step inside a tipi adorned with tapestries representing decades of Indigenous contributions to Calgary’s culture. Storytelling: Be moved by traditional stories from elders, delight in puppet shows by Indigenous authors, and explore virtual reality experiences by the Urban Society for Aboriginal Youth. Artisan Market: Discover the vibrancy of Indigenous creativity at our artisan market on June 7th and 8th. Enjoy music, dance, and locally crafted goods. Educational Information Walls: Learn and engage with displays that provide deeper insights into Indigenous culture.

Da Vinci The Exhibition is a hands-on exploration of Leonardo da Vinci's life, research, and art, developed by Aurea Exhibitions and produced by Imagine Exhibitions, Inc. Guests can go beyond the canvas, exploring over 65 life-size inventions, more than 20 fine art studies, and captivating displays.

Canstruction® Calgary brings together teams of engineers, designers, architects and builders to create extraordinary structures out of non-perishable food items. The structures are judged, exhibited to the public, and then de-canstructed, with food going to the Calgary Food Bank. This year, structures are inspired by the theme: Retro Toys and Games, You CAN Play. Nine teams have used more than 44,000 cans of food to create structures that will remain on display at Southcentre Mall until April 21st. Calgarians coming to view the installation are invited to bring a donation of non-perishable items and to vote for their favourite structure in the People’s Choice Awards beginning April 9th. The structures will also be judged by a panel of esteemed Calgarians on April 20th.

The PDD Fiber Collective Show is a collaborative group exhibition that combines the work of the embroidery and rug hooking programs run within Prospect’s Persons with Development Disabilities (PDD) services at Studio C (Prospect).

Free Soccer Fridays, sponsored by Servus Credit Union, invites kids to a free, unstructured, drop-in soccer opportunity. This is a chance for youth of all ages and abilities to play and enjoy the sport.
