Storyteller/Musician Samantha Whelan Kotkas and her friends will entertain you and your children with musical interactive tales of child-accessible hikes in the Rocky Mountains. Teach your child about courage, unity, joyfulness, and caring in an afternoon of fun and adventure. An event for the whole family that you will want to be a part of.
Recommended for children aged 5 to 12, but created with the entire family in mind.

Canstruction® Calgary brings together teams of engineers, designers, architects and builders to create extraordinary structures out of non-perishable food items. The structures are judged, exhibited to the public, and then de-canstructed, with food going to the Calgary Food Bank. This year, structures are inspired by the theme: Retro Toys and Games, You CAN Play. Nine teams have used more than 44,000 cans of food to create structures that will remain on display at Southcentre Mall until April 21st.
Calgarians coming to view the installation are invited to bring a donation of non-perishable items and to vote for their favourite structure in the People’s Choice Awards beginning April 9th. The structures will also be judged by a panel of esteemed Calgarians on April 20th.
