Life Cycle is a virtual cycling event in support of the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. Taking place throughout the month of June families and cyclists will ride towards their personal fundraising and distance goals as they make a difference for kids across Alberta. Funds raised through Life Cycle will support the Child Life departments at both Alberta hospitals.

In this workshop, Métis artisan Janis Laboucane will teach you the history, uses, and preparation of the wolf willow bead, including the hands-on process of cleaning, boiling, piercing and drying the seeds to make beads. Janis will lead you in making your own set of a bracelet and earrings made from wolf willow! All materials are supplied and yours to take home if you don't finish your pieces during the workshop.

Rock the Nation is a live tribute show of Canada’s best-known hits from the past 60 years. Produced by Annerin Productions, hear the soundtrack to generations every Saturday and Sunday at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre, from May 11 to August 25.

Runs daily Wed-Sun at 2 pm starting May 29. Take a 60-minute guided walking tour around the vibrant lands at The Confluence and learn some of the many histories of this significant place, including the history of the NWMP and their contribution to the birth of the city of Calgary, the railway, and the ways that many people have used this site since time immemorial. The walk is approximately 1.5 km and covers various terrains. Walks take place rain or shine, so come dressed for the weather. Access to the cultural centre requires additional admission. Recommended for ages 10+.
