Register today for the 13th Annual Hike for Hospice Calgary, taking place on May 6. 9am: North Parking Lot - Registration, Pledge Drop-Off, T-shirt Pick-Up, and Festivities. 10am: Warm up with the Stampeder Outriders, Opening Ceremonies, and then the Walk! Walk 5K at Sikome Lake, Fish Creek Provincial Park, as Hospice Calgary celebrates people close to Hospice Calgary and to support end-of-life care in the local community. Mixing the magic with the normal the story follows a nine-year-old girl, Sophie, who reaches out to her parents, Demetrius and Helena, trying to make them, through her stories, recapture the moment when they were young and in love. Whales|Tohor? is an interactive experience housing one of the world's largest whale collections from the National Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. Join TELUS Spark for their World Water Day Event on the evening of March 21. They are looking forward to an interactive showcase of their Wavemakers, youth taking action to solve local and global water issues. They will be hosting their own interactive booths to explain their action projects, and there will be engaging speakers like Mayor Nenshi, Nirmala Naidoo, youth leaders, and CEO of TELUS Spark, Shauna Curry. This event is free, family-friendly, and there will be snacks!
