Tickets are on sale now for the Award-Winning Harvest Pumpkin Hunts at Butterfield Acres! Off you will go on the tractor-pulled hay wagon, rolling through the crunchy Fall leaves just hoping to find some kid-sized pumpkins! Once you find the pumpkins, you'll bring them back and decorate them into creative pumpkin-head masterpieces! While the glue dries, enjoy a visit with your favorite animal friends in the farmyard! Your visit includes hunting time, pumpkin-decorating (no carving), and a farmyard visit with the animals! Each child takes home their very own pumpkin masterpiece. Plan for 110 minutes. Be sure to dress for the weather and wear something orange to celebrate the season! A child's (able to walk to 17 years) Harvest Pumpkin Hunt ticket includes farmyard admission and 1 pumpkin per child. The cost is $14.99 + GST. YYC Pizza Week is a friendly competition among 40+ pizza places in Calgary! Portions of the proceeds from each pizza sold are donated to Calgary Meals on Wheels. The competition runs from September 21 until September 30. Visit any of the 40+ participating restaurants and inquire about purchasing their feature pizza for YYC Pizza Week. Prices are set by the participating restaurant. Once you have tried the pizzas, vote via the website or download the YYC Pizza Week app on iPhone or Android!

This month-long event will foster understanding, appreciation, and celebration of Canada’s Indigenous Peoples. For Bump, Baby & Beyond! Takes place September 29 & 30. Presented by Mayfair Diagnostics, the Calgary Baby & Tot show is a premier parenting event designed to put everything you need under one roof. Featuring local and national exhibitors showcasing the latest in apparel, services, products and toys to assist parents and caregivers every step of the way. Join industry experts in the seminar theatre, with educational presentations discussing everything from pregnancy to preschool! Interactive play areas, arts and crafts, and ongoing entertainment for the whole family! Takes place September 29, 9:30am to 5:30pm and September 30, 11am to 5pm. The Alberta College of Art + Design's Lodgepole Center will be hosting a spectrum of Indigenous cultural programming, including traditional medicinal smudgings to open daily programming, followed by drum performances and drum-making demonstrations. Traditional food samplings and discussion will be offered around the lunch hour. Although drop-in attendance is welcome, visitors are encouraged to attend for the entirety of the daily programming to immerse themselves in the full experience.

The Alberta College of Art + Design's School of Continuing Education will be running family-friendly, hands-on workshops, where participants can learn how to make either a button, an origami wish star, or a hemp bracelet.
