Takes place May 25: 10am to 5pm, and May 26: 11am to 4pm. Slither on down as a family to the Calgary Reptile Expo and learn about the conservation and pet ownership of these unique and amazing animals! Admission: $7 per adult; $5 per child; $20 per family (up to 2 adults and 3 kids). Free for TARAS members and kids under 3.

Skate To Great National Skate Drive Returns to Calgary in advance of the Stars on Ice show. The spring skate drive launches on May 11 at Scotiabank Saddledome, offering an opportunity to kick-start your spring cleaning and donate gently used skates to local kids who need them! Bring your items to the Scotiabank Saddledome on May 11 anytime after 6:30pm. Skate To Great organizers and FedEx Express Canada will be collecting used kids hockey and figure skates, helmets and hockey sticks. To kick off the drive, organizers will be collecting items at Scotiabank Saddledome, where Stars on Ice will be performing. After the kick-off date on May 11, bring your items for donation to one of Skate To Great’s collection locations until May 31. Takes place May 26, June 2 and June 9, 10am to 4pm, rain or shine. The Asparagus Festival is back by popular demand! The Asparagus Festival is a fun-filled day packed with memorable experiences geared toward the entire family. Visit a real working asparagus farm, experience first-hand the asparagus story on the fully-narrated fun wagon ride to the field and watch harvesting in action. Lots of opportunities to savour freshly-picked delicious asparagus at the field. Enjoy lunch at their local food truck. Shop at the Country Store for freshly-picked asparagus and other produce, handmade preserves and pies, ferments, all-natural beef, and more (bring a cooler). Don’t miss the Artisan Market Village for shopping galore. Visit the farm animals, enjoy playing in the bale maze, face painting, many other fun kids’ activities, and lots more! Saturdays & Sundays, from May 18 to June 30. Spring is the perfect time to meet the Farm's new baby animals and explore all the great attractions at the Calgary Corn Maze & Fun Farm. During this event, you can interact with all of the baby barnyard animals, including miniature horses, donkeys, lambs, goats, rabbits, piglets, ducklings, chicks, calves, and kittens, plus get to meet the Spring babies (now all grown up) from previous years, too! Admission also includes access to over 35 great Fun Farm Attractions. Note: The corn mazes are not open for this event, as they are newly planted and actively growing.

Visit Western Canada’s largest outdoor quilt show and see hundreds of beautiful quilts on display throughout the Park. Choose your favorites at the Creative Kids’ Challenge, shop the Merchants’ Mall, and enjoy exploring all of the exhibits and rides at Park!

This event is part of Get Outside and Play Week! Nature Storytime & Scavenger Hunt at Riley Park. First, there will be nature-based stories and then all participants can engage in a nature scavenger hunt to explore the park! Meet at the gate on the south side of the park at 11 Sreet NW.

Instrument Discovery Zoo at 2pm & Concert at 3pm. Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra’s Symphony Sundays for Kids, Gershwin’s Magic Key. Step into 1920s New York where a poor newspaper boy has an encounter with the famous composer, George Gershwin. The composer shares anecdotes about his life and musical passion, and learns the kid has musical talent, too. Can the boy find the magic key to unlock it?
