Bee-trayal features bees, wasps and hummingbirds in a hilarious and interactive performance where our creatures vie for the top spot as Pollinator Extraordinaire. Wagonstage Children’s Theatre is part of the University of Calgary’s School of Creative and Performing Arts.

The worldwide touring exhibit, The Museum of Failure (MOX), is coming to Canada for the first time. MOX will be popping up in Calgary at Southcentre Mall this summer. This immersive walk-through exhibition showcases a collection of over 130 failed innovations from major brands, including Apple, Amazon, Nintendo, and more.

The Calgary Fringe Festival features local, national, and international productions for a total of over one hundred performances over 9 days. This year's event will be a hybrid festival experience between live in-person performances and digital offerings (pre-recorded theatrical video/audio presentations and live stream). A festival where artists create temporary site-specific installations in downtown Okotoks. This art festival sees artists repurpose and animate forgotten places with ‘forgotten’ materials, bringing public art to forgotten corners of downtown Okotoks. Individual artists and teams use recycled products to create installations that raise environmental awareness, animate spaces, and entertain audiences.

Calgary Unplugged is an annual family-friendly Earth Hour event. See a 75-minute version of The Merry Wives of Windsor performed at multiple locations in Calgary and area, such as Heritage Park, Brookfield Residential properties, and other public spaces. All performances take place outdoors, and are family-friendly, engaging, and easily accessible. There are no tickets required and no cost for the show, donations are welcome.

BUMP self-guided mural tours are a perfect way to explore the murals and experience new works of art as they are being created right before your eyes. New tours will be released throughout the month of August. The Beltline Urban Mural Project (BUMP) is a program that funds and installs art on buildings in the Beltline.
