Join us for the 50th annual Springbank Park For All Seasons Agriculture Society Old Tyme Fall Fair. The Fall Fair is a great day where Springbank families have the opportunity to gather together and celebrate our agricultural roots and community spirit. Come out for a day of fun, fellowship, and festivities for all ages.

Visit 17th Ave retail and entertainment district this season for Summer on 17th. There will be live music, fitness classes, DJ and drag shows, outdoor movies, and more in Tomkins Park throughout the summer, and all of the events are free.

The Chestermere Country Fair is the oldest ongoing annual event at the Chestermere Recreation Centre, held every year in September.

A fabulously fun award-winning musical based on the adored movie, Legally Blonde The Musical, follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. Action-packed and exploding with memorable songs and dynamic dances - this musical is so much fun, it should be illegal!

Calgary Unplugged is an annual family-friendly Earth Hour event. Date: Saturday, March 23, 2024 Time: 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Location: Central Library (800 3 Street SE) Join us for music, entertainment, and opportunities to experience what environmental actions you can take in Calgary. Pedal power midway games and experience how our natural world affects our daily lives. Bring personal lighting and dance to the DJ when the lights go down for the Earth Hour party! Calgary Unplugged is hosted by The Arusha Centre's Climate Program, with support from The City of Calgary and community agencies. If you can't make it to the event, turning off nonessential lights, "unplug" from electronics at 8:30 and reconnect with people, games or hobbies! a burger festival that takes place each year where participating restaurants from various Canadian cities compete to create a unique burger; reflective of their overall concept and cuisine.

In addition to sampling delicious barbecue from the five best ribbers around (that’s Pistol Pete’s, Billy’s BBQ, Buckeye BBQ, Blazin’ BBQ and Papa Jack’s), there’ll also be entertainment, raffles, cold drinks and more at McMahon Stadium’s north parking lot. Entry into the event is free, and all donation proceeds go to the Rotary Clubs of Calgary.

Join us at Southcentre Mall from June 3rd to 23rd for our fourth annual Indigenous History Month celebration in partnership with Authentically Indigenous. This month-long event will foster understanding, appreciation, and celebration of Canada’s Indigenous Peoples. Experience the work of Tahltan-Tlingit master carver Dempsey Bob at the immersive ‘Wolves: The Art of Dempsey Bob’ exhibition. The exhibition features 65 works and is the first-ever retrospective of Bob’s career from the 1970s to the present. Visitors to the exhibition will discover a selection of masks, sculpture and regalia, complemented by Bob’s work in bronze casting and vestment production. In his works, Bob reinterprets the traditional characters and iconography from the age-old stories of his people, at times transforming those traditional tales with European influences. Locked Zoo: Living Large is a 2-hour, zoo-wide escape game that challenges you to explore the zoo after hours, solve an elaborate series of puzzles, and learn about wildlife conservation. This outdoor escape game will have you using your wits?and getting your steps in, while solving challenging puzzles with a team of clever friends. Your team will explore select areas of the zoo to find the clues, solve the puzzles, and save the day! There's plenty of animals to see along the way, beverages (including adult ones!) will be available for purchase,?and you can?pre-order a delicious dinner box. The challenge will not be timed. Proceed at your leisure! You’ll be able to enjoy the zoo until dusk at 8:00 p.m.

Of course, the Zoo is bringing back all the classic activities everyone has come to love like the Skating Rink, Fire pits, and Rival Axe Throwing. ZOOLIGHTS comes to life at night with twinkling lights at every turn, including over 200 light figurines, along with interactive and choreographed light displays. The lights are turned on at 5pm nightly and run until 9pm. It takes approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours to experience all that ZOOLIGHTS has to offer - but you are able to stay for as little or as long as you like!
