Stay cool and enjoy the summer sunshine! The City of Calgary maintains wading pools and splash parks all over the city which are open to the public and tons of fun!

Wading Pools - 9am to 9pm Daily

Eau Claire Plaza - 3 St. & Riverfront Ave. S.W. - OPEN
Prairie Winds Park - 223 Castleridge Blvd. N.E. - OPEN
Riley Park - 800 12 St. N.W. - OPEN 

Spray Parks - 9am to 9pm Daily

Bowness Park - 8900 48 Ave. N.W. - CLOSED - remains closed as part of an on-going re-development project
Canmore Park - 19 St. & Chicoutimi Dr. N.W. - Opening July 24
Eau Claire Plaza - 3 St. & Riverfront Ave. S.W. - OPEN
Prairie Winds Park - 223 Castleridge Blvd. N.E. - OPEN
Rotary Park - 617 1 St. N.E. - Opening July 24
South Glenmore Park (Variety Park) - 90 Ave. & 24 St. S.W. - Opening July 18 at noon

Calgary's Child's Tips 

• Avoid the hottest times of the day to avoid crowds and heat-related illness
• Don't forget the sunscreen! Re-apply every 30 minutes if you're having fun in the water!
• Cover up if the sun is high! 
• Bring a picnic basket full of goodies to enjoy with your family once the kids are done splashing around
