Harmony is a community in Springbank, brought to you by Bordeaux Developments. Harmony is situated in Rocky View County, south of Highway 22X and north of Calgary. The development boasts homes by some of Calgary’s most distinguished homebuilders. When complete, Harmony will offer residents two planned lakes, a private golf course, world-class spa amenities, shopping, and 1753 acres of community space.
Homebuilders for Harmony include Baywest, Broadview, Calbridge, NuVista, Sterling, and Harmony Townhomes. Available for purchase are single family, estate, lakefront, townhomes, and bungalow villas. All homes will be close to the amenities of the community, including the future Village Centre, and feature upscale, modern architectural design. Lots in Phase 1 through 10 of construction are available for purchase, with some quick possessions available - all with easy access to the first of the community’s two lakes.
One of Harmony’s greatest strengths is its robust offering of outdoor activity spaces. The first of two planned man-made lakes has been completed and at 40 acres is currently available to residents for swimming, non-motorized boating, and fishing. The second will be constructed in stages and at 100 acres will offer additional beaches and lakeside living. The community currently boasts over 7 kilometres of paved pathways for resident use, with a total of 25 kilometres upon completion that connect to the existing regional pathway system, including the scenic Old Banff Coach Road. Currently available for 18-hole play is the Mickelson National Golf Club, to which all residents receive a social membership with limited course access, social club, and simulator access.
Families in Harmony will find plenty of amenities to keep their children active and busy. Paint Brush Park, the first of the community’s planned parks, is complete, with green spaces and playground equipment. Harmony Adventure Park is an outdoor sports-oriented park to be completed in three stages, with a skating ribbon and toboggan hill currently open to residents, and a skate park, pump track, climbing wall, and dog park to open Spring, 2021. There are three designated school spaces for future schools of the Rocky View School District, and students currently living in the community attend existing schools in Springbank. Harmony offers an extensive document on existing school and childcare options for potential residents on their website.
The future Village Centre will be home to boutique shopping and restaurants, as well as community gathering spaces, and feature the world-class Wellness Spa by Groupe Nordik. For those looking to start a new business or relocate existing offices, there are opportunities in the community’s Employment Campuses for small business and other professional opportunities. A short 10-minute drive into Calgary brings residents to the future north location of the Calgary Farmers’ Market, or a brisk 50 minutes to the Canmore area for hiking, skiing, and camping.
Harmony offers a wide range of outdoor, relaxation, and business amenities to its residents. With townhomes starting from the $440s and lakeside homes starting from $1.2 million, there is a wide variety of fine homes available for purchase in what promises to be a bustling, active community settled in a uniquely natural setting.
