Kicking off on October 15th, join us at Southcentre Mall for an unforgettable celebration of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a vibrant Mexican holiday that brings families together to honour and remember loved ones who have passed. Our exciting schedule of events will showcase the richness of Latin American culture through art, music, dance, and more. This year’s event is presented in collaboration with Casa Mexico Foundation as part of Latin American Heritage Month in Canada. From October 15-November 2, experience a special display in Southcentre's Centre Court, including a Dia de los Muertos altar, special info walls, and artwork from local artists. Crafted by the talented duo Faby and Oscar Rios, The Afterparty is a lively folk art piece made from papier-mâché. This Dia de los Muertos-themed artwork celebrates the belief that joy extends beyond life. It depicts a vibrant scene with a couple dancing to a mariachi band, embracing the spirit of life even in death. The colorful piece beautifully captures the essence of Mexican traditions and the enduring nature of celebration. Get ready for a frightfully fun evening at the Capitol Hill Community Association! This all-ages Halloween dance party promises spooky music, dancing, and plenty of Halloween spirit. The canteen will be open, and Family Fry Guy Food Truck will be serving dangerously delicious eats. DJ Gooday will be spinning spooky beats and Green Fools Theatre Company will be performing throughout the night. The free and freaky fun kicks off at 5 pm. Don't be late!

Instead of going door to door, kids go car to car getting treats (or tricks), and enjoying the creatively decorated vehicles. Get ready for a BOO-tiful evening of Halloween fun at Triwood's first trunk or treat. While the event is taking place in the parking lot of Triwood Community Association, there will be pumpkin carving, hot drinks and snacks inside.

Bring your young boils, ghouls, trolls and more to at Symons Valley United Church for a safe and super fun daytime Halloween adventure.

Rather than going door-to-door, kids go trunk-to-trunk, collecting candies from different vehicles that have been set up and decorated in a parking lot. Along with collecting candy, they will also get to vote on the best-decorated trunk. There will also be a fire, photo booth, and hot chocolate.

LEGO Halloween Spider make and take event is intended for participants aged six and older. The LEGO Halloween Spider model will be available on a first-come first-serve basis, at participating locations, while supplies last.
