It is time to start making plans for snowy family fun this winter. If you think your children are too young for snow play other than what is found in the back yard, think again. Whether it is a snowball fight or a run down the slopes, playing in the snow offers fresh air, exercise and fun for the whole family.
There’s something kind of lovely about this time of year. The holidays are past us, and a new year is upon us - it’s the perfect time to relax, spend some quality time with the family and make plans for the year to come.
Having fun as a family and playing games is more than you think. Play has a great deal of value for our children as it helps kids build confidence, feel safe and learn compassion and physical skills. There are two different types play: Structured and Unstructured. Each one is important to a child’s development.
